Lake Conroe Sailing Association (LCSA) will be holding its Intro to Sailing class on Saturday, June 14th from 10:00 am until 1:00 pm, at the Conroe branch of the Montgomery County Library.
The class will include classroom instruction in the basics of sailing:
-Parts of a sail and sailboat
-Basic seamanship (knot tying, rules-of-the-road, sailboat maneuvering)
-Safety, equipment, rigging, and terminology
-Weather
If time and weather conditions permit, we will try and take interested participants out aboard a sailboat to put into practice what was covered in class.
