Recent History
The market had been operating weekly for nearly five years before shutting down in February 2026 after the City of Conroe significantly increased street-closure event fees. Following the election of new city council members and a reduction of those fees back to previous levels, the market returned in July 2026. Organizers are currently operating through August and hope to return to a weekly schedule if permits continue to be approved.
