There are several events going on this weekend around the Conroe and Montgomery area. Check them out below. This list is not comprehensive, and events are subject to change.
‘A Christmas Carol’
The Players Theatre Company is putting on performances of Charles Dickens’s “A Christmas Carol,” which follows Ebenezer Scrooge as he meets the ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Future.
Candy Cane Holiday Trail
Residents are invited to Conroe’s Candy Cane Park drive-thru holiday lights experience. While driving through the lights, families can enjoy listening to holiday music that will match the lights.
‘The Best Christmas Pageant Ever’
Attendees can enjoy performances of the play “The Best Christmas Pageant Ever” at the Crighton Theatre. The show follows the six Herdman siblings as they work to be the lead roles in the Christmas pageant.
‘Frozen’
Montgomery High School’s theater department is putting on performances of the musical “Frozen,” based on the Disney movie.
Readers’ Night Dickens on Main
Meet local authors and fellow readers, swap books and shop for book-themed merchandise from local vendors.
Donuts with Santa
Have donuts with Santa and capture memories. Registration is required.

Montgomery County Mistletoe Market
Guests are invited to a small business shopping event featuring over 200 vendors with women’s and children’s clothing, home, holiday and garden decor, as well as gourmet food items.
The Icehouse Wonderland
The Icehouse Conroe is holding a holiday event that will include kids’ activities, a train, photos with Santa and a chili contest.
Photos with Santa
16 Handles in Pine Market is hosting Santa for the day, with attendees invited to take photos with him. There will also be cookies alongside the business’s frozen yogurt offerings.
Light Up Willis
Join the Willis community for an evening of Christmas activities, including games, photos with Santa, live music and a vendor market.
Montgomery Light Up The Park
Join the community to ignite the holiday spirit as Cedar Brake Park comes to life with lights and decorations courtesy of local businesses and residents.
Christmas Over Conroe
The West Conroe Baptist Church is hosting a Christmas event that will include, among other activities, a petting zoo, a train and an inflatable obstacle course. Free food at the event will include hot dogs, cookies and hot chocolate.
Texas 10 Conroe
Attendees can participate in a 5-mile or 10-mile run in Montgomery County.
Bookish Craft Club
Join the Bookish Craft Club for a craft night where guests can paint a nutcracker while listening to music from the ballet and sipping on hot cocoa.
Tree Trimming Party
Celebrate the holidays with a potluck while decorating the VFW Post 4709 tree. The event will also include a white elephant exchange for adults 21 and over and child-friendly games and activities.
