MONTGOMERY, Texas — Three people were rushed to the hospital on Wednesday afternoon after a vehicle slammed into a veterinarian’s office in Montgomery County, the fire department said.
Firefighters responded to reports of an entrapment with multiple injuries at the My Family Vet on Woodforest Parkway North near Fish Creek Thoroughfare in Montgomery.
Crews arrived to find the entire Subaru SUV inside the building with one person trapped underneath it. They had to use airbags to lift the vehicle off the victim. That person, the driver and one other patient were taken to area hospitals by ambulance. We don’t know their conditions yet or whether the victims were employees or animal owners. We are also working to learn if any pets were hurt.
A photo shared by first responders showed shattered glass littering the lobby and what appeared to be Halloween decorations on the floor.
Texas DPS and the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office are investigating the accident.
