Conroe-based business Bakers’ Signs recently hosted 125 students and staff members from Booker T. Washington High School and Caney Creek High School for a manufacturing education day at the company.
The students and staff explored building signs, applying vinyl, seeing the behind the scenes in design in sales, permitting, design and accounting.
The students also competed in a contest to build their school logo as a sign which they were able to take back to their school.
“The event overall was a huge success and Bakers as a company could not be more proud to support such a great industry in this way as well as our local talent,” said co-owner Matt Baker. “This makes our 11th year in participating in this event and we also look forward to next year.”
