Check out several new restaurants that have recently opened across the Houston metro, as recently reported by Community Impact.
The Spring-based eatery offers a variety of smash burgers in beef or chicken alongside items such as chicken tenders with fries and fries covered in cheese, jalapenos and bam sauce.
The restaurant’s first location sits along FM 2920 in Spring, with the second location along Kuykendahl Road in Tomball.

Owned by Michael Sambrooks, according to the news release, the restaurant’s menu is identical to Montrose with customer favorites such as the house nachos, chile con queso, tortilla soup, Frito pie and ceviche, as well as birria tacos, chile gravy enchiladas and carne guisada.

Described as “new American fare with a global twist,” Jonathan’s the rub offers scratch-made dishes including hand-cut steaks, fresh seafood, pastas and salads, according to the news release.

Officials with Los Cochinitos restaurant said the Mexican dining venue opened on Nov. 20. Los Cochinitos serves authentic Mexican food including carnitas, enchiladas, tamales and quesadillas, per the business website.

OI Juicy Dumpling & Ramen offers comfort food including ramen, handmade dumplings and milk tea.

Rooted in family recipes and a passion for authentic flavors, Yark Green serves Thai rice, curry and noodle dishes, as well as desserts such as mango sweet rice, coconut pandan roll cake and fried ice cream.Additionally, the interior of the restaurant is decorated with warm wood tones, earthy colors and greenery to reflect a peaceful oasis.
