
Charles Edward Steffler, born on March 15, 1947, in Dallas, Texas, passed away surrounded by the love of his family. He lived a full and meaningful life defined by devotion, hard work, and deep love for those closest to him.
Charles was the beloved husband of Vicki, with whom he shared 60 wonderful years of marriage. Together, they built a life rooted in love, faith, and family—a legacy that will continue for generations.
He was a proud and loving father to his daughter, Sara Clark and her husband Tommy, and his son, Jeremy Steffler and his wife Jennifer. His greatest joy was being “Papa” to Tia, Casey, and Liam, who brought him endless pride and happiness.
Charles dedicated over 30 years of his career to KLM, where he was known for his strong work ethic and commitment. Outside of work, he found his greatest joy in spending time with his family and in the beauty and peace of Montana, a place he dearly loved.
He will be remembered for his steady presence, his love for his family, and the quiet strength that defined his life. His legacy lives on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
Charles will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, April 17, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at New Montgomery Cemetery, located at 408 Old Plantersville Road in Montgomery, Texas. Following the graveside service, a reception will take place from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Living Savior Lutheran Church, located at 309 Pond Street in Montgomery, Texas.
