Darkness revealed itself on September 10 when a twenty-two-year-old radicalized student named Tyler Robinson climbed up the stairs to the rooftop on the campus of Utah Valley college located in Oren, Utah with a loaded rifle, took aim and fired killing Charlie Kirk. The gunshot hit Charlie in the jugular vein in the neck, ending his life.
Assassinations are not new to America’s history with Abraham Lincoln in 1865, James Garfield in 1881, William McKinley in 1901, John F. Kennedy in 1963. Yet, Charlie Kirk was not an elected official, but a private citizen simply expressing his views and reaching out to a neglected segment of our society: College Students. Charlie Kirk was a special man with a wife and two lovely children. He was driven by his principles and his deep faith in Jesus Christ. His unique skill was to turn opposing political discussions of the elite and bought it into grassroots. He spoke on college campus throughout the nation giving students an opportunity to express their views and to participate in lively debates about the issues facing them and their futures. He stepped down from the podium and down on the ground to engage with our young people. He influenced many students of their poisoned minds from radical teachers and professors. It is interesting that I never saw footage of any of these cowardly professors debate with Charlie; choosing to hide in the shadows as their students did their bidding for their wok agenda. He changed the game with open arenas that were open and welcoming for anyone to step up to the microphone and share their views. His motto was, “Prove me Wrong.” He attracted thousands of people as he sat and listened to them and educated them with truth and logic. He tackled controversial issues such as abortion, individual liberty over big government, the ills of transgender policies, protecting our country’s borders, Gun rights, and the Renewing of the American Dream. He believed that to defeat the Democrats’ wok agenda he needed to have confrontational politics and grassroots disruption to capture the culture from the secular Left.
For his gallant efforts and positive influence, he was silenced with death. A sickening scene was when radicalized students and even teachers celebrated his death revealing their true and deplorable nature.
However, his grieving wife pointed out in a press conference, the death of her husband will not silence his convictions, rather will unleash and multiply thousands of people who will finally wake up and change the direction of our country from the destruction path that the Left has created for the future.
Charlie Kirk founded an organization called Turning Point USA, which could be the catalyst from this tragic event in the history of America. This event should not scare us into the silence of fear, rather should embolden every American to stand up for truth, justice, and the America way. Charie Kirk knew that you only lose your freedom with your life. God’s peace for Charlie Kirk and his family.
