The men were being taken from Spring to Conroe when they escaped near I-45 and North Loop 336.
CONROE, Texas — A couple of ICE detainees escaped from custody on Monday morning in Montgomery County, according to the Conroe Police Department.
Police officers are assisting ICE in the search for the escapees.
The men were being taken from Spring to Conroe when they apparently got out of the vehicle and ran. They were last seen heading east of I-45 near Loop 336.
They were shirtless and in flexi cuffs, CPD said.
The suspects were reportedly in custody for a deportation hold by ICE.
If anyone sees them, they should call 911 or Conroe PD.
