“The best way to spread Christmas cheer is singing loud for all to hear”— and CYT Houston is ready to do just that! CYT will light up the stage with its festive production of Elf the Musical Jr., running November 7-9 and 14-16 at the Historic Crighton Theatre in downtown Conroe.
Based on the beloved holiday film, Elf follows Buddy, a human raised among Santa’s elves, as he embarks on a heartwarming journey to New York City in search of his birth father and his true identity. Along the way, Buddy’s boundless optimism and childlike wonder remind everyone that the holiday spirit can still shine bright—even in the hustle and bustle of the city.
Directed by Carol Neill, this production captures the joy, humor, and heart of the modern Christmas classic. “This cast has embraced the spirit of Buddy”, says Mrs. Neill, “working tirelessly to bring their characters to life and fill the stage with laughter, music, and—of course—lots of JOY.”
Rounding out the artistic team are Lucas Olivarez (Assistant Director), Lisa Woods (Music Director), and Morgan Yovanovich (Choreographer).
