Montgomery County Precinct 3 Commissioner Ritch Wheeler says a garbage truck spilled its load along Player Woods near North Seasons Trace Circle, leaving debris scattered and triggering a significant roadside cleanup effort.
Wheeler said the cleanup is expected to take at least three hours.
A cleanup crew and a roll-off container were dispatched to the scene to help remove the trash and clear the roadway.
In the meantime, motorists are being asked to avoid the area if possible while crews work to restore normal traffic conditions.
