Food truck Tings and Wacos opens brick-and-mortar location in Missouri City
Through the opening of its first-ever storefront, Tings and Wacos has brought air-fried wings and brisket tacos to Missouri City locals.
The business began as a food truck prior to getting the keys to the location, which serves healthier alternatives to deep-fried food items such as wings. Among its savory menu are vegetarian and vegan options as well as specialty entrees for events.

Burgers, beer, bourbon: Bohemian Bull now open in Spring
Bohemian Bull combines its rotating craft beer concept with black Angus beef burger options to offer Texans a distinct American cuisine experience.
The tavern partners with local and regional breweries to serve a wide selection of handcrafted bourbons and cocktails, which patrons can sip while sitting outdoors in its featured beer garden.
Wise Street Eats now serving halal burgers, loaded fries in the Heights
Wise Street Eats offers both burger and sandwich combinations alongside popular menu items like its loaded fries, mac and cheese, sliders and fresh chicken tenders. Its addition to the Greater Heights area marks its second location in Houston, where everything is made to order and is 100% halal.
Montgomery home-based pop-up Grace + Goodness Cookie Co. now open
The at-home bakery, founded by Ashton Wilson, is all about satisfying customers’ cravings for sweets with fresh homemade cookies, which can be picked up or delivered throughout Montgomery and the surrounding areas.
Grace + Goodness Cookie Co.’s bakery menu is currently composed of six different cookie flavors: cookie butter chocolate chip, peanut butter cup, almond toffee oatmeal raisin, white chocolate macadamia, sugar and snickerdoodle.
Crispy Cones now open in Conroe
The ice cream parlor was first seen on Season 14 of “Shark Tank” in 2022. Now available in Conroe, Crispy Cones whips up several variations of dessert cones for customers, including its featured waffle cone baked rotisserie-style and topped with gourmet soft serve ice cream.
Holistic restaurant Flower Child coming soon to Cypress
According to a Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation filing, Flower Child is expected to open a new location in Cypress, though no official opening date has been announced at this time.
A guiding concept of the holistic restaurant is its vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free menu, which offers patrons a range of salads, bowls, wraps and desserts.
