Houston Texans’ Jimmie Ward accused of drug-fueled assaults in lawsuit seeking $20 million

Ward, 34, was arrested by the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office in June and charged with assault family violence impeding breath/circulation, a third-degree felony, in the aftermath of one of the alleged assaults. The criminal case is pending.
