MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Texas — A crash involving an overturned 18-wheeler that caused major traffic disruptions along Interstate 45 in Montgomery County has now been cleared.
According to Houston TranStar, the crash happened on the northbound lanes of I-45 at SH-242 and was first verified at 5:35 a.m.
At one point, the right shoulder, left lane, right lane and two center lanes were blocked, leaving limited room for drivers to get through.
The crash led to a backup stretching about six miles and delays of up to 65 minutes during the morning commute.
