“Love Notes on the Lake: A Valentine’s Weekend Songwriter Festival”

Montgomery, Texas (Dec. 30, 2025) –
Love will undoubtedly be in the air this Valentine’s Day weekend as
“Love Notes on the Lake” comes to Margaritaville Lake Resort Lake Conroe
| Houston February 13-15. This unique, three-day songwriter festival
celebrates music, storytelling, and heartfelt
inspiration behind some of today’s most memorable songs.

The
event, hosted by Radio Trop Rock’s Renee Adams, will bring together
accomplished singer-songwriters and music lovers for an unforgettable
weekend of performances, workshops,
and connection.

Featured musical artists include:

• Thom Shepherd and Coley McCabe –
  Thom Shepherd is the Texas Country Music Association (TCMA) Songwriter of the Year. Together with Coley, the pair has
  garnered more than 10 Trop Rock Music Association (TMRA) Awards, and their Lone Star Luau Music Festival won the TMRA Event of
  the Year twice.
• Walt and Tina Wilkins –
  A husband-and-wife duo, Walt and Tina Wilkins deliver a rich blend of Americana, folk, and Texas roots music to the stage.
• George Middelman and Gary Burr – Middleman and Burr’s songs have been recorded by Keith Urban, Kelly Clarkson, Conway Twitty, Reba McEntire,
  Kenny Chesney, and more. They have also collaborated with Kenny Loggins in the group, “Blue Sky Riders.”
• Eric Edrman – A
  celebrated songwriter and performer whose work spans country, pop, and
  Americana, Edrman is best known for his thoughtful lyrics
  and dynamic stage presence. He has collaborated with some of
  Nashville’s top writers and artists, creating songs that resonate deeply
  with audiences.
• Frank Myers – With
  more than a dozen No. 1 hits, including “I Swear,” “I’m Already There,”
  and “Just You and I,” Myers brings a wealth of storytelling
  experience and behind-the-scenes insights into the craft of
  songwriting.

In
addition to the musical lineup, Misty Tyme, a nationally recognized
relationship expert, speaker, and media personality, will host a session
for couples titled “Pause,
Hit, Play: Refreshing Your Relationship for Life.” There will also be a
Bloody Mary Morning Brunch, with a special Sunday sendoff with
Shepherd, McCabe, and Erdman.
