West Lone Star Parkway 12-inch waterline extension: Council accepted the city engineer’s recommendation to award the construction contract to Bull-G Construction LLC. The project will extend a 12-inch waterline along West Lone Star Parkway, cost $333,771 and has a completion date range of 45-75 calendar days, per the agenda item.
Water Plant No. 3 booster pump addition: Officials approved awarding the booster pump addition project at Water Plant No. 3 to McDonald Municipal & Industrial. The booster pump will add a 900-gallon-per-minute booster pump to the existing plant and will be funded through American Rescue Plan Act funds. Per the agenda item, the project will cost $178,469 with 154 calendar days to achieve substantial completion.
Lift Station No. 10 Phase II improvements: Council also awarded a contract for Phase II of the Lift Station 10 improvements project to McDonald Municipal & Industrial. Per the agenda, the $356,469 project is funded by Taylor Morrison as part of their Lone Star Hills development, formerly known as Lone Star Ridge. The improvements are expected to take 210 calendar days to achieve substantial completion.
