MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Texas — A deputy was flown to a hospital Tuesday after a four-vehicle crash on FM 2296, according to the Montgomery Count Precinct 1 Constable’s Office.

Another driver was taken to a hospital for evaluation. Two other drivers were checked out at the scene and released.
The crash is being investigated by the Texas Department of Public Safety.
“Constable Cash and the Precinct 1 Constable’s office would like to extend our thoughts and prayers to everyone involved in the incident and express appreciation to the community for their continued support and well wishes during this time,” the constable’s office said in a news release.
It’s not immediately clear what led up to the crash.
“Additional information will be released as it becomes available and appropriate,” the constable’s office said.
