The Montgomery County Fair and Rodeo was awarded Best Overall event in the Under 75,000 Attendance category at the 100th Annual
Texas Association of Fairs and Events (TAFE) Conference held late last week in Fort Worth.
The Ray Cammack Show’s Awards of Excellence for Marketing and Communications recognizes fairs and events of all sizes across the state of Texas for their hard work and dedication to the communities they serve.
The Montgomery County Fair and Rodeo proudly accepted 15 awards, including Best Overall in the Under 75,000 Attendance category, along with multiple first and second-place honors across marketing, sponsorship, video, and educational categories.
Receiving these honors during TAFE’s centennial conference highlights the continued impact of the Montgomery County Fair and Rodeo on both the local community and the Texas fair industry.
“These awards are a testament to the dedication of our community of volunteers, staff, and participants all working together to achieve one mission: to Champion the Youth of Montgomery County,” said Dr. Tobin Redwine, Montgomery County Fair Association Executive Director. “Our 2025 Fair and Rodeo was an immense success, leading to a commitment of more than 1.5 million dollars to youth in our county. We can’t wait for 2026 to bring Montgomery County together again.”
The Montgomery County Fair and Rodeo annually brings together families, youth exhibitors, and visitors for livestock shows, rodeo events, live entertainment, and family-friendly attractions. The fun kicks off at the Montgomery County Fairgrounds in Conroe, Texas on Thursday, April 9 and will conclude on Sunday, April 19.
