Montgomery County Real Estate continues to show steady Demand

As 2025
unfolds, Montgomery County real estate continues to show steady demand, shaped
by both local growth and national economic factors. Though year-over-year home
price increases are modest at about 0.1%, Montgomery city’s median listing
price has climbed to $449,900, up nearly 6% from last year. Buyers are clearly
still drawn to the area.

Inventory
has improved compared to recent years, with more than 6,000 homes available in
June. This gives buyers more options, but sellers should know that well-priced,
move-in ready properties are the ones moving quickly. Homes near Lake Conroe,
golf course communities, and newer subdivisions continue to draw the strongest
interest.

Another
trend is the rising popularity of lock-and-leave lifestyles, especially
townhomes and condos with HOA-managed exteriors. With many buyers traveling or
splitting time between homes, convenience is a major selling point.

decision.
