The left and center lanes have been blocked for hours following a three-vehicle accident near The Woodlands.
HOUSTON — There’s a major traffic alert you’ll want to know about if you’re driving north of Houston.
A three-vehicle crash is causing a major traffic jam on I-45 northbound near TX-242 near The Woodlands in south Montgomery County.
The two center lanes, the left lane and the left shoulder are blocked.
A big rig and two other vehicles were involved in the wreck around 7 a.m. and the truck’s trailer broke.
By 10:30 a.m., crews were still working to offload it so they could tow it. They didn’t have any estimate yet on when the crash scene would be cleared.
