On November 8, 2025, members of the Thomas Jefferson Stubbs 2523 Conroe Chapter, of the Texas Division, United Daughters of the Confederacy met for their monthly meeting. Those members attending, were…Linda Brill, Christina Barkmann, Jackie Barkmann, Debbie Chance, Eva Rains, Carolyn Jamail, Joy Lynn Berkhardt (guest & prospective member), Beckie Endebrock, Michele Scanlin, Bette Garland, Iva Gilliam, Sherry McKey, Delise Henry & Nelda Shippey-McBride.
The chapter met at the Honor Cafe in Conroe, in one of their meeting rooms, being surrounded by pictures, newspaper article, etc. of Veterans.
One of the many activities that chapters enjoy doing is, welcoming a brand new member to their chapter. Beckie Endebrock (Stubbs chapter president) had the honor of giving, Christina Barkmann her membership certificate. Miss Barkmann entered this chapter under the service of her Confederate ancestor…David Thomas Drummond, Co B 36 Regiment, Alabama Infantry CSA.
With this membership of Miss Barkmann, the Stubbs chapter may boost, that they have three sets of mother/daughter memberships.
