Excitement is in the Air as the Rebel Joan Of Arc 2721, United Daughters of the Confederacy, special committee for the “Texas Convention Attendee Pin & Bar” travel to pick up this years new orders for their big State wide Convention to be held in Fort Worth! The Great State of Texas!
Chairman: ELAINE COLLINGS, Co-Chairman: LYN HOWARD, and Committee Treasurer:
JENNY LEHR traveled to pick up their new orders as displayed on the table. Mixed in the display is the beautiful and very fragrant Gardenia of the Jasminoides Family- the “Aimee Bloom”, which is the largest and covers four to five inches across with the bush growing up to six feet tall. Lovely LYN HOWARD brought this from her personal garden in appreciation to Estella Ornelas for her kind assistance and for another wonderful year of help with the Chapter Committee’s Big endeavor for the Texas Convention Attendee Pin and Bars!
The three Rebel Joan Of Arc Committee Ladies are proudly wearing their Texas Convention Attendee Pin & Bars from all the TX UDC Conventions they have attended.
What a lovely history remembrance and opportunity for all that Pre-Order and Attend!
The Texas UDC Members really seem to appreciate this beautiful recognition as the
Texas Convention Attendee Pin & Bar SELLS OUT for each Year!
COLLINGS and HOWARD have added a red leather strip behind theirs to show up even better! ALL Proceeds goes into a special savings account for a future Historical Confederate Marker or Monument. What a Vision and What a beautiful Goal for history and education for the public to enjoy for generations to come.
The Rebel Joan Of Arc Chapter Members fund the re-purchasing of these Texas Convention Attendee Pin & Bars each year, as their Chapter donation to this educational and historical effort, which each member contributed to.
This special Committee is to be Congratulated for another year of their outstanding work, perseverance, and dedication to this very important gift to the Texas Division United Daughters of the Confederacy, and the State of Texas!
~CONSIDER YOUR FAMILY HISTORY AND IF YOU MIGHT QUALIFY FOR THE SPECIAL OPPORTUNITY OF BEING ABLE TO BELONG TO THE UNITED DAUGHTERS OF THE CONFEDERACY, or the SONS OF CONFEDERATE VETERANS! WHAT A GIFT THAT COULD BE TO YOUR FAMILY AND YOUR FUTURE GENERATIONS!~
