Rebel Joan Of Arc 2721 Chapter President, JENNY LEHR, travels to Galveston searching for “April is Confederate History Month”. Galveston is rich in Confederate History and an important part of all Texas History! Boliver Point was an important location after Confederate forces-built Fort Green to defend Galveston Bay. It was already home to the Bolivar Lighthouse, which the Confederate Troops took apart to use its metal components for the war efforts.
The entire LEHR FAMILY are devoted to honoring their Confederate History, including their two daughters who also belong to Rebel Joan Of Arc Chapter, and the LEHR’S two Grandchildren who are in the process of belonging to the Children of the Confederacy.
