Montgomery County Main Library Genealogy Room. Special appreciation goes to Genealogy Director: Laura Politte, who is an outstanding Director of this Genealogy Department, and always a pleasure to work with. The Director is pictured centered in the middle in Gray and next to RJOA President JENNY LEHR, with RJOA Chairman of Southern Arts and Literature: LYN HOWARD standing just behind in her very southern wide brim red hat. Another outstanding building of reading materials to add to an already outstanding Genealogy Room! The Rebel Joan Of Arc 2721 Chapter proudly supports the Genealogy Room where so many beautiful Charters hang for all the Genealogy Lineage Groups of our area. Each one is a Treasure to its Organization and at home in the Genealogy Room there. It’s a wonderment and marvel just to think of all those selfless hours of volunteerism given by so many over the years for their Chapters and Organizations, and all for the betterment of our Community and Society.
“HISTORICAL and EDUCATIONAL” are the first two Objectives of the United Daughters of the Confederacy, then follows: BENEVOLENT, MEMORIAL, and PATRIOTIC!
The Rebel Joan Of Arc Belles work tirelessly to support all these valiant Objectives of the UDC, and these again are more gifts from the RJOA to our Community to learn from and enjoy.
