RJOA SALUTES MONTGOMERY, TEXAS FOR PRESERVING IT’S HISTORY!
Left to Rt: Elaine Collings, Karen DeBerry, MONTGOMERY HISTORICAL MARKER & OLD JAIL, Lyn Howard, Charlotte Belin

Members of the Rebel Joan Of Arc 2721 Chapter, of the United Daughters of the Confederacy, traveled to the fast-growing little town of Montgomery to visit in remembrance the sacrifices this brave little town made during the War Between The States, during 1861-1865. Their loss was great and recovery after even more difficult, but look at them now! This is one of the fastest growing Texas towns, and the Belles of the Rebel Joan Of Arc Chapter salute the City of Montgomery and its Leaders for keeping its History safe!
It is always a pleasure to visit Historical recognitions anywhere you may travel, for those Brave City Leaders who had the vision and courage to protect the history of their towns and communities. There are many Historical Homes, Parks, and locations to take your families to go visit in the town of Montgomery, still with that special “small town feel”. THANK YOU MONTGOMERY, TEXAS FOR PRESERVING YOUR HISTORY!
This month is APRIL IS CONFEDERATE HISTORY MONTH, and the Rebel Joan of Arc Chapter has many plans to give their time and attention to Honoring this special Month in our History.
