‘Finding Neverland’

Class Act Productions presents “Finding Neverland,” a musical based on the life of “Peter Pan” creator J. M. Barrie. Performances run from June 11-21, including this weekend.

Concerts in the Park

The city of Friendswood is hosting concerts at Stevenson Park every Friday throughout June.

Outrun Hunger

Montgomery County Food Bank’s annual event will include an 8K or 5K trail run, or a 1K color dash. This event will also include live music, food trucks and a kids’ zone.

Big Rivers Splash & Dash

Run a 10K, 5K or kids’ dash at this event benefiting the TANGO2 Research Foundation.

Chase the Rainbow: Stride with Pride

The 5K race will celebrate, bring awareness to and raise funds for Katy Pride. Strollers and leashed pets are allowed, according to the event’s Race Roster site.

TexMex Smoke N Fire BBQ Fest

The community is invited to a festival featuring Texas barbecue, Tex-Mex favorites, live music, vendors and family-friendly activities.

White Linen Night

Stroll through 100 exhibits of local artists in downtown League City while enjoying beverages, food trucks and live music.

Katy International Food Fest

The food festival features flavors from around the world as well as a variety of handmade and unique goods from local vendors.

Summer Mariachi Night

Mi Rancho Mexican Grill and Bar is celebrating the start of summer with an electric live mariachi event at its Gosling location. Face painting for kids and tequila tasting for adults will be available throughout the night, as well as the restaurant’s soft serve margaritas and cantarito bar. Prior to the mariachi’s performance, patrons are also invited to enjoy a set from a featured guest DJ.
