Vice-President of the Freedom Chapter, Sons of the American Revolution receives
a proclamation from Mayor Sara Countryman, celebrating the 250^th Anniversary
of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. The proclamation is to
celebrate and commemorate the 250^th Anniversary marking America’s
Semiquincetennial. The Sons of the
American Revolution honors our Revolutionary War patriot ancestors by promoting
patriotism, serving in our communities and educating and inspiring future
generations about the founding principles of our country. The Sons of the
American Revolution are honored to sponsor this event as one of the
celebrations leading up to our nations semiquincetennial on July 4, 2026. We
aim to inspire our fellow Americans to reflect on our past, strengthen our love
of country, and renew our commitment to the ideals of democracy through
programs that educate, engage, and unite us as a nation. Thank you, Montgomery,
for this proclamation of celebrating with us in the founding of our nation.
