The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion on April 28 announced the lineup for its 2026 Performing Arts Series, which offers free admission to live music, film, dance and family-friendly programming, according to a news release.
The Pavilion is located at 2005 Lake Robbins Drive, The Woodlands.
What to expect
The lineup begins in June and runs through December. Here’s a look at the events happening this year:
- June 5: “Lilo and Stitch” screening with a Polynesian dance performance by My Hula Hut
- June 17: The Houston Symphony presents “The Music of Journey”
- June 23: “The Princess Bride” with live score by The Houston Symphony
- July 3: Star-Spangled Salute, a mix of patriotic music
- July 10: Mixteco Ballet Folklórico performance with Disney’s “Encanto”
- July 15: The Woodlands Symphony presents “Game On! A Symphony of Sport”
- July 21: The Houston Symphony presents “The Music of Billy Joel and Elton John Starring Michael Cavanaugh”
- Sept. 9: The Houston Symphony presents “When Instruments Roamed the Earth”
- Sept. 29: The Woodlands Symphony presents “Dead Symphony: Music of the Grateful Dead”
- Oct. 23: The Houston Symphony presents “Hocus Pocus Pops”
- Dec. 3: Holly Jolly Jingle by Conroe ISD student musicians
Another detail
The series also includes the Mini Pavilion Maestros program, which provides participating children with a membership lanyard and badge; free reserved seating at performing arts events; early entry for select shows; a free ticket to Children’s Festival; and other perks. Families can register at any performing arts event at the North Plaza booth or online.
