The Woodlands Diversion, a collaborative arts organization committed to creative excellence and community connection, is thrilled to announce its
2025/2026 season. The lineup features five distinct performances that blend classical, contemporary, and culturally relevant programming — all designed to inspire and engage audiences of all ages.

2025/2026 Season Performances
● September 6, 2025 – Origins
Recital Hall, Lone Star College–Montgomery
Ensemble Diversion explores the surprising links between classical and pop music in a concert featuring the works of Bach, Satie, Vivaldi, and more—paired with contemporary songs they inspired. With voice, violin, cello, keys, and percussion, Origins bridges centuries through sound.
● October 11, 2025 – Mi Historia
Main Stage, Lone Star College–Montgomery
In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, Mi Historia is an original one-person show chronicling the story of a young man navigating bicultural life between Mexico and Texas. Created by TWD and presented in partnership with the Montgomery County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.
● December 6, 2025 – Luminate
Recital Hall
Celebrate the season with a joyful evening of holiday music, visual art, and community talent. Luminate features favorites like Sleigh Ride, All I Want for Christmas Is You, and more—performed by Ensemble Diversion and exceptional student musicians.
● February 7, 2026 – Embrace
Recital Hall
A heartfelt evening of love songs from around the world, including La Vie en Rose, At Last, Bésame Mucho, and Just the Way You Are. With lush projection art and live ensemble, Embrace celebrates love in all its forms — romantic, familial, and universal.
● April 11, 2026 – Orbit
Recital Hall
A solo piano experience by Artistic Director Matthew Kent Everett featuring Beethoven’s Moonlight Sonata, Ravel’s Gaspard de la Nuit, and original compositions. Enhanced by atmospheric projection art, Orbit invites audiences into a meditative and immersive soundscape.
As part of its mission to foster local arts and make the arts accessible to all, The Woodlands Diversion proudly supports young musicians and emerging artists through its grant program and performance opportunities, available through open community auditions.
