Police are responding to an incident at Splendora High School in Montgomery County. Officials are asking parents not to come to campus.
SPLENDORA, Texas — Police have responded to an incident that led to a lockdown at Splendora High School on Thursday morning, according to Splendora ISD.
Details are limited at this time. The district said the campus has moved from lockdown mode to a “hold.”
The high school is located at 23747 FM 2090 in Splendora.
The district said it has sent an alert out to parents encouraging them not to call or go to the campus so emergency responders are not disrupted.
The district said it would be sending out an update to parents soon.
Images from Air 11 show a law enforcement presence outside the campus, including officers in tactical gear.
