A woman is in custody after police say she shot her husband during a physical altercation in Conroe.
CONROE, Texas — A man is dead and a woman is in custody after a shooting Tuesday afternoon in a Conroe neighborhood, according to the Conroe Police Department.
Officers were sent to Piney Balsam Way in response to a weapons disturbance.
When they got there, they detained a 37-year-old woman outside the home. Inside the home, officers found a 49-year-old man shot to death.
According to investigators, the man are husband and wife and were allegedly involved in a physical altercation just before the shooting happened.
At this time, their identities are not known. An investigation is underway.
