Winning is a Beautiful Thing; Texans Get their First Win Against the Titans 26-0
“Houston Texan wide receiver Jayden Higgins celebrates his one (1) reception, that went for a twenty-four (24) yard touchdown, with C.J. Stroud in a winning effort; beating the Tennessee Titans 26-0.”

Houston, Texas:
It was a must win for a struggling franchise. After three (3) games and three quarters (3) the Houston Texans offense finally woke up and found the endzone three (3) times, which should be a Texan record.
Although, the Texans were playing for last place in the division; a victory has the potential to ignite a spark that could empower the Texans to capture their division. The game featured two (2) talented Black quarterbacks, the hometown guy for the Titans Cameron Ward who had a big following at the game went for ten (10) completions on twenty-six (26) attempts for one hundred and eight (108) yards and one (1) interception. He made a plea at the press conference for better play from his team. Yet, it was C.J. Stroud who shined on Sunday as he lit up the scoreboard with twenty-two (22) completions on twenty-eight (28) attempts for two hundred and thirty-three (233) yards and two (2) touchdown passes. It was the rookie Woody Marks that caught a twelve (12) yard and an eighteen (18) yard touchdown reception in the fourth quarter. He finished the day with seventeen (17) carries for sixty-nine (69) yards. He delivered energy into this lethargic offensive unit. Texans’ receiver Nico Collins led the team with four (4) receptions for seventy-nine (79) yards. Note to the coach: Get the ball into the hands of your play makers. Texans’ linebacker Danielle Hunter was a man on fire with three (3) solo tackles and one (1) assist with two (2) sacks that kept the Titans from the endzone. The special teams put in a mediocre performance with place kicker Ka’imi Fairbairn going two (2) for three (3) in field goal. The Texans made a bad call going for two (2) points after their first score. The Houston Texans dominated their divisional rival in every category and hopefully can carry their winning spirit into the remaining games in their schedule.
In other AFC divisional play, the (3-1) Indianapolis Colts drop one to the LA Rams 27-20, and the
(3-1) Jacksonville Jaguars beat the San Francisco 49’ers 26-21. The Houston Texans are (1-3) in 3rd place in their division.
The Houston Texans are traveling to Baltimore to take on another struggling team this season; the (1-3) Ravens, so read all about your hometown team in your hometown paper.
