GREAT. Water stained; 59.4 degrees; 0.94 feet above pool. Catfish action has been excellent, with anglers finding consistent success fishing baited holes tight to structure in 10-30 feet of water using Catfish Bubblegum, worms, liver, and punch bait, as well as over range cubes where fish are concentrated; drifting cut shad or cut bream through creek channels and windblows flats is also producing good numbers and some larger fish. Largemouth bass are performing well along offshore ledges and structure, often relating to large schools of shad with occasional schooling activity. Report by Brad Doyle with Bradley’s Guide Service. Crappie have been productive around timber and structure in 13-28 feet, with hair jigs outperforming plastics and minnows, though many bites have been light. Hybrid striped bass are being caught in good numbers in 18-34 feet, both scattered and schooling, on slabs, spoons, large minnows, and shad, with many juveniles reported–be sure to check tooth patch for proper identification. Always wear your life jacket. Report by Mike Cason, Fishical Therapy.
