Please save the January 16, 2026, date on your calendar and standby for your ballots and full agenda information. It will be provided to you approximately two weeks prior to the AGM meeting. I would like to invite you as a 2025 voting member to the 2026 Lake Conroe Association Annual General Meeting (AGM) and the LCA 2026 Town Hall where we will discuss several critical topics regarding Lake Conroe and the potential impacts, they have on lake area residents and visitors. All Lake Conroe Association voting members are eligible to vote by proxy or attend in person to cast their vote for LCA Board members. Attending in person will also allow the LCA to hear your views on the critical issues or upcoming decisions that will impact all Lake Conroe area residents, recreational users, or water consumers. In the next LCA President’s update to be issued next week we will provide short summaries on several significant developments. More detailed information will be placed on our website. As we did last year, we plan to start the Jan 16 meeting with a Townhall so that we can present in more detail the recent developments and take your questions. Of course, if you cannot attend, we will respond to your questions via email. In AGM meeting section, the LCA activities of the past year will be discussed, along with the 2026 annual budget, summary of donations, and a discussion of the plans and priorities for 2026. The minutes will be made available one week after the meeting on the LCA website, to be found at https://lcatx.org/. The LCA has a long history of taking the lead in successful actions to protect Lake Conroe. This would not be possible without our all-volunteer Board and your donations. The LCA is a 501 (c) (3) charitable entity, and your donations are deductible from annual federal taxes. Any donation amount is appreciated but especially from those that choose to become Voting members by giving a contribution of $100 or more annually. Please donate to help maintain our reserve funds so that we can continue our history of stepping in immediately when Lake Conroe faces a major problem. Please use https://lcatx.org/ .
