Two Montgomery County sisters transforming a longtime Conroe hangout into a blues bar with live music

Introducing LUCY BLUES (aka Lucy’s): a Unique Sports Bar and Grill featuring Blues Music and Gourmet Bites, located at the oldest bar (Tut’s) in Conroe, Montgomery County, Texas!

Lucy Blues opened in early March and is now open daily from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., pairing soulful sounds with the latest sports action on multiple big screen TVs. The spot has patio seating and an outdoor bar with large TVs is in the works.

Lucy is for the name of B.B. King’s guitar “Lucille,” the owner says. Lucy is also the name of the guitar that Eric Clapton gave to George Harrison of the Beatles.

The menu includes fun bar bites with familiar favorites from Red Brick Tavern along with some twists like Elvis’ banana, bacon, honey and peanut butter sandwich.

“I’m grateful for this opportunity because they’re not making anymore dirt in Conroe and this is such a great location and an iconic place. It feels great to come back and give it a bit of a shine.”

I went in once for the first time... during the day to play galaga...."the regulars".....annoying and abnoxious day drunks....were round after round after round of shots....like it was mardi gras....at 2pm on a tuesday...if you go in during the day be prepared for low class loud mouths.also zero music.... thought I was walking into a Bible study at first until people started talking... then I realized that was floating in a sewer.tbough the service is outstanding.the atmosphere is exvellent.that stage looks dope....

Went to Lucy Blue’s earlier in the evening, so the daytime atmosphere and overall condition of the place were a little more noticeable than they probably would be at night. We mainly went to play shuffleboard. They did not have shuffleboard wax/sand available, but they gave us a cup to kind of scoop and reuse what was already there.One nice thing was that the shuffleboard tables were free to play, which gave us several game options without having to keep paying. We only had one drink, so I cannot really speak much on the food or full bar experience, but overall it was a decent casual spot to hang out and play games.

Great place but NO ONE was there on Saturday night. Hard to stay open when no patrons present on what should be a busy night.

Advertised a band when viewing area for band was reserved for a party. Don't want to sit on a patio and listen to a band i cant see. Bartender thought it was funny.

Great venue for live music. Sound is excellent. Seating is comfortable, great staff. Hard to beat when Scott McGill performs. Bring him back!!!

Great little hole-in-the-wall with live blues music. Parking can be a challenge, so don't be surprised if you have to park where you can and walk. Drink prices weren't bad considering the live music. Lots of big screens available if you're a sports nut. Waitresses were plentiful and quick. No real reason not to hang out here when near Conroe.

Loved this place. Didn't eat but loved the vibe. Our Bartender was awesome. Definitely be back and highly recommended.

When the owner tries to control karaoke and move the list to benefit her special one time guest who haven’t been there before and disregard her regulars who are there weekly to support her business is quite sad frankly and has just lost multiple customers due to this. Next time she needs to think about the regulars who come and spend money week after week instead of treating them like nobody
