The resort staff were extremely friendly and professional, and the rooms were very clean. Laid back atmosphere with excellent customer service! I want to specifically commend John, Tom, and Patrick who were staffing the upstairs bar on the night of 7/21. They had an extremely busy night with a challenging crowd, and numerous shared open tabs. They remained professional, joked with the customers, and were extremely efficient behind the bar. Their Customer Service was exemplary and they made each customer feel like a priority. Well done gentlemen!

For $500 a night the room should have been perfection. But, the inadequate air conditioner, broken phone, too few towels, very low shower water pressure, empty body wash container and broken elevator made us regret choosing this place. The air-conditioning in the hallways was also very poor.It was probably very nice when new, but it's not well maintained or managed any longer.Strive harder, management.

The rooms smelled like a mixture of mold and sewage. We insisted they change the rooms but only one of the new rooms smelled any better. The rooms were also in need of new paint and some deep cleaning. We were there for 5 days and complained several times but they NEVER came and took out the garbage, or changed the linens! They offered a couple hundred dollars off of our bill at the end (a bill well over $5,000.00) but personally I would have rather have had decent service. I understand that the holiday weekend was busy but if you are supposed to be a 4star resort then you had all year to plan for additional crowds! This place was a nightmare and the weather did NOT help! It was blistering hot and 80% humidity!! Unbearable. No fun.

This place is not worth it at all, very overpriced their fees are ridiculous as the rooms are not clean. When we arrived there was still stuff from previous guest in the room. The toilet just kept running nobody every came to fix itDrinks are over priced and the food at both restaurants was as basic as it could be. No flavor I paid 56 dollars for overcooked chicken. Don’t bother complaining unless you’re the RIGHT COLOR as they only seem to want to cater to a certain color.Not enough attractions for the overall price of this place. The hallways smell like pet urineThe best meal I had was their pizza

I had an outstanding experience at the License to Chill Bar, and I want to recognize John and Holden for their exceptional service. From the moment we arrived, they were friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. They made sure we always had what we needed, checked in on us without being intrusive, and created such a fun, relaxing atmosphere.Their professionalism, positive attitudes, and attention to detail truly stood out and made our visit even more enjoyable. It’s clear they take pride in providing excellent customer service, and it made a lasting impression.Thank you, John and Holden, for going above and beyond. You are a tremendous asset to the License to Chill Bar, and I look forward to seeing you again on our next visit!

Jon and Holden at the License & Chill Bar made my birthday celebration even more special! We stopped by close to closing time, and even though they were getting ready to end their shift, they welcomed us with smiles and never made us feel rushed.They were incredibly attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed. Their amazing customer service and genuine kindness turned a simple stop at the bar into one of the highlights of my birthday. Thank you both for helping make my celebration so memorable. Margaritaville is lucky to have you. I can’t wait to come back!

Do not book the Jimmy Buffett presidential suite. It’s a huge space of NOTHING! An 1800 sq ft space with ONE bedroom. They could easily add another bedroom. A huge dining table- but no kitchen supplies, microwave, anything you would need to entertain. Two gigantic balconies that were filthy dirty. Huge balcony off the master that didn’t have a single chair on it. In our first day we made the mistake of walking barefoot in the room and our feet were black. Just a gigantic disappointment of a place.

I am always looking for a good staycation— so, if you’re in the Montgomery county area, here is my take on our stay.We stayed in room 2014 which is a king size bed and a fold out couch bed. It’s my husband and 7 year old son staying with me.Let’s do pros first:1. The room is MASSIVE for the price of the room. We enjoy Kalahari. The price here was competitive but the rooms are definitely not. The king bed is in a separate bedroom, so you have a separate living room space. There is a big balcony that looks over the lake. It includes a mini fridge. No microwaves, but there is a microwave you can use in the cafe area downstairs.2. The room was COLD when we entered (such a plus).3. It was clean.4. Shower was hot.5. Main bed feels good so far.Cons:1. The water park here is… not a water park. It’s two pool areas. One has 2 slides for big kids. The water was pretty warm compared to other pools.The other is smaller with the big splash bucket (meant for smaller kids). My son had a better time at the splash pad type area. On the OPPOSITE side of the kid area there’s a big pool with a Jumbotron and loud music playing. That’s the adult party side. The water was murky in the lazy river.2. The equipment in the splash pad area looks dated. 3 of the water structures didn’t work. There is netting rigged to fix holes in other parts of the netting on the climbing sections. Some places had rust.3. The arcade is small. You definitely won’t spend a lot of time here.4. The fold out bed is AWFUL. My 7 year old is going to try to sleep in it, I’ll update how that goes. If you’re thinking an adult will sleep in it… bring a mattress topper. And a thick one.5. No one has gone out of their way to make us feel welcome, and when we called to ask about renting a boat the man was clearly annoyed I called past closing (which I learned is 7 pm).All that to say… I wouldn’t say it’s worthy for a more than one time experience. The room was the nicest part. It also seems more adult friendly than kid friendly.
