Patio heaters take the chill off on cool days. Monty’s Lighthouse has several public boat-slips available so that you can arrive by boat or by car.

Met friends who just moved to area from San Diego we came from Alamo Tx. Had brunch server was great food was wonderful .price to portion compared to other brunch i give a 8.gor the restaurant maybe $9.99. Great view of lake.

Great place! Prices are a little higher than it needs to be. Food is good. Vibe is great. I wish they focused more on customer service and knowledge of menu. Everytime we go it seems to be new servers that just say “ ill ask and let you know”

We visited Monty's Lighthouse and loved how clean and nice it is on the inside. The service was also really good throughout our meal.The appetizer and dessert were easily the best parts of the experience. The crab queso starter was fantastic, and we ended on a high note with an absolutely incredible bread pudding.However, the main entrees were a bit disappointing. We ordered the fish tacos, the blackened catfish with red beans and rice, and the crawfish mac and cheese. While everything tasted very fresh, the entrees were surprisingly bland and really lacked flavor, which was a bit upsetting.Overall, it’s a beautiful spot with great service, a killer appetizer, and an amazing dessert, but we really hoped for more seasoning on the main courses, overall we might give it another try in the near future.

Dani is the best server I’ve had at Monty’s!! I see her every week and she brings out my usual order before I even sit down. I really enjoy the shrimp tacos or the Cajun chicken pasta and you can’t go wrong with boudin balls to start! The waterfront views are a total vibe 🤩

My husband and I came here for our lunch date and the view is beautiful 😻. The food was the true highlight. Each dish was beautifully presented, prepared with fresh, high-quality ingredients, and packed with incredible flavor. From the appetizers to the dessert, every bite reflected the chef's creativity and attention to detail. The portions were generous, and everything arrived at the perfect temperature. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for outstanding food, excellent service, and a warm, inviting atmosphere. It's the kind of place you'll want to return to again and again. Without a doubt, this is a five-star dining experience. We will be back again 🙌🙌

When I saw the giant trophy sitting out front in the restaurant, I got excited that maybe we were gonna have a good time and enjoy some good food for my sister's birthday....and truly this review is less about the food and more about the lack of consideration from the waiting staff. Bland pasta, lack of refills, and incorrect ice-cream flavor aside, it was quite disappointing, and frankly, rude to watch the waiting staff (minimum 7 staff) eagerly sing for the birthday of the woman at the table next to us and after the mention and request of the birthday song (several times) for my sister to be told by our waitress "Well, we could, but only like two people will do it with me, sooo." I won't name our waitress because to a degree, I can tell she was just trying to do her job. But the sneer on her face and the face of a couple of other waiting staff told me all I needed to know. You never know what kind of day someone is having. And I say all of this with the recognition that it is not a waiting staff's job to be singers. But to blatantly go out of your way to hurt a woman's feelings on her birthday while intentionally celebrating the table behind us is certainly something... My family visits around this time every year. We know now where not to spend our money if we want Cajun food. Decorum goes a long way, favoritism and another word I won't use...do not.

This evening GF and I decided to revisit Monty’s excited to enjoy fresh fish as I’m a Pescatarian over 15yrs. Ordered Redfish Tacos only to be served Chicken when I brought it our waiter that I was in fact served Chicken not Redfish. He immediately got the manager. So the Manager came out and tried to convince me it was Redfish!!! I showed him that I took a photo and that Gemini confirmed my accusations that it was CHICKEN. The manager then double down that it was in fact fish, he didn’t apologize but told me if I wanted him go back there and watch the cook prepare it he would be more than happy to and asked me what would I like? SMH !!! Will definitely not going back here any more so sad.. honesty goes a long way. To solidify my convictions I showed both photos to waiter & manager .
