Had Hugh as our server and he was amazing!!!! The atmosphere was great they had women Wednesday specials for $5 Margaritas and martinis, Funny our server was great! Definitely recommend for karaoke drinks and a restaurant on the lake conroe!

Don’t go unless you just want drinks. The food for horrible. My husband and I went for dinner. He ordered the surf and turf. The steak was so tough he couldn’t even chew it. The lobster tail wasn’t even a tail at all. I ordered the shrimp and scallops. Was suppose to be 3 scallops. They were small scallops like looked like a spoon full was put on the plate. They were out of mashed potatoes and green beans. My husband coke and crown was good. Salad wasn’t bad. Very overpriced!!! We ended up only paying for the drinks and salads. We couldn’t eat our meals. Which was still $40. The bill would have been $90. Sadly to say. We won’t be back. I hope the owners of this restaurant reads these reviews and does take them into consideration.

The good…Beautiful ViewsThe not so good…We were told we had to have a reservation but they had a table open by the entrance next to the pool. The pool with green looking water and peeling paint on the coping. We were there for the lake views, so we were fine with it, but table was sticky and unclean.Waiter was nice, but the tea and food was inedible. Random ballpark nachos are better than the chips and “queso.” Loaded fries were limp and topped with canned cheese as well.Tea was reminiscent of Lipton instant. 😑I walked around a bit to see what the rest of the views looked like since we mostly saw people swimming.Again, views were nice but ruined by rundown dock that looks nothing like the website photo, several open tables (an hour and a half later that were closer to the water views and supposedly reserved ), an empty kiddie pool from times past, barstools with cushions that looked old and moldy, a waterfall off to the side of the pool that had no water, and some kind of cover on another functionless water feature.Definitely in need of repair, updating, deep cleaning and menu revisions. Prices did not match the quality at all.

Was hoping for more since we were not familiar with the place, we didn't realize it was part of a rundown condo complex that could use a major upgrade. The parking lot was dilapidated with bad concrete; the pool area looked like it needed major renovations, too. The food at the Wave was subpar; they had a variety of items and when you see that they do seafood, Italian and American, it all can't be good; and sadly, it wasn't. The best part was the view of the lake.

Dirty pool nice customer service the bathroom smells and only one stall crawfish extremely good but it doesn’t have a no spicy crawfish boil?? And the place???? No I will never come here again it looks haunted the cruise also looks haunted you want to check down stairs to see the cruise full of trash spider webs it looks old trash everywhere it’s just not right beautiful sunset btw and it’s EXPENSIVE FOOD a lot of money but they won’t fix anything and the photo I showed yall those wooden floors looks broken they they need remodel everything NEEDS MAINTENANCE and whenever you ask for a drink FULL OF ICE just scamming people with they’re money

Kudos to Eduerdo, Hugh and Ben! The three waiters we had during our stay on the lake. I recommend the boudain egg rolls, the bacon avocado burger, wings, the cajun style chicken and chicken quesadillas. If you want fries, I suggest the sweet potato fries over the regular fries.

This hidden gem is truly a treasure! The food is absolutely delicious, and the service is outstanding. One of the best things about this place is the pool area where the kids can have fun while the parents enjoy a relaxing dinner. The crawfish are my absolute favorite so flavorful and perfectly cooked! Highly recommend this restaurant for families and anyone looking for great food and a wonderful atmosphere. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Worst dining experience ever! They lost or ticket, so we waited over an hour and a half. Finally received the food and the shrimp and fish dinner was cold. They took 35% off the bill, but that whole experience was a huge disappointment! We were planning to fish and was notable to because they took too long. If they are short staffed don’t eat there.

Airbnb had ruined this place. Drugs. Fights. Ect they need to make it private and reservation only and keep all the crap out allow residents to pay high prices for a nice restaurant. Also need to clean it up. Make it nicer its a sadly excuse of curb appearance and I brought business folks im and they didnt want to stay. We were gonna do monthly business meetings here but sadly had to find a nicer place.

I don’t usually leave reviews, but I felt like I needed to share our experience.My husband brought me here after a really rough morning because we don’t get out often at all, especially with a toddler and me currently being pregnant. We were actually really looking forward to it and drove about 30 minutes to get there.From the moment we arrived, the condition of the restaurant felt very run down and in need of serious maintenance and a remodel. The space looked worn down, and there were visible cobwebs in different areas, which made the environment feel uncomfortable.While dining outside, my two-year-old daughter also picked up what appeared to be a rusty nail/thumbtack from the ground near the seating area, which was very concerning from a safety standpoint. In addition, several of the metal doors leading from the restaurant area to the pool were broken and left open. As parents of a two-year-old, this was alarming. We do not allow our daughter around water without a life jacket, and having direct, unsecured access to the pool area made us feel like we had to be on high alert the entire time. If you’re bringing children and plan to sit outside, I would strongly recommend keeping a very close eye on them.We were seated and ordered food about 15 minutes after arriving, and our entire visit lasted about an hour. The food took quite a while to come out, although I did appreciate that the appetizer and kids meal arrived first.Service-wise, our server was very kind and pleasant to talk to. She checked on us throughout the meal, but the service wasn’t very proactive. We often had to ask for things rather than having them offered or noticed. We weren’t given a kids menu because they didn’t have any, and the drink that came with the kids meal wasn’t brought out until we specifically requested it. Our drinks were refilled once, but after that we had to ask when we needed more. Are server was genuinely nice, which was honestly one of the better parts of the experience.As for the food, the boudin eggrolls were actually delicious and easily the best thing we ordered. Unfortunately, the rest of the meal was a different story. I took one bite of my main dish which was crawfish and couldn’t continue eating it and The crawfish seasoning tasted like lime salt…My husband was able to eat some of his burger, but neither of us felt the food lived up to the price.By the end of the meal, we had spent $72, and I had only taken one bite of my entrée. My daughter barely ate, and my husband only ate part of his meal before we decided to leave. For a family that rarely goes out to eat, it was incredibly disappointing to spend that much money and leave feeling like we hadn’t enjoyed the experience at all.I was honestly so disappointed that I ended up crying at the table and again on the drive home. This was supposed to be a rare family outing for us, and I had really hoped it would be a bright spot in an otherwise difficult day.Overall, while The server was kind and the boudin eggrolls were great, the condition of the restaurant, the safety concerns, the lack of proactive service, the long wait for food, and the quality of the main dishes made this an experience we won’t be repeating. I truly hope the restaurant improves because it has potential, but unfortunately we will not be returning.
